Members teach & tutor Spanish students of all ages. We collaborate with 5 local elementary schools, 2 local high schools, as well as Virginia Tech’s Student Services Department.

We hold multiple fundraisers to support charity organizations in the Blacksburg/Christiansburg areas, & are developing new international outreach programs!

We contribute to the Virginia Tech community by supporting other campus organizations including, but not limited to: Spanish Club, Salsa Tech, Hokies Helping Honduras, & the Spanish & Study Abroad departments.
Sigma Delta Pi offers free Spanish tutoring to students in all levels of Spanish as well as to students who would like to practice conversing in Spanish.

There are a number of ways to serve the community. One of the most impacting opportunities to make a difference lies at the core of our afterschool program.
Join our team of volunteers to teach Spanish to the younger generations. Wether you are trying to gather experience or simply enjoy taking a role in impacting the educational lives of children, this is an opportunity you will find very rewarding.
We currently hold Spanish programs at Kipps Elementary School, Gilbert Linkous Elementary School, and more!
